Installs in seconds by slipping the shoe insert into the flash shoe on the camera and folding the front diffuser down over the front part of the top of the camera. (usually the name plate, see picture) Fits cameras with standard flash shoes not Minolta Maxxums, but you could tape the shoe insert to the top of the flash shoe and then slip it over the flash.
