This is an absolute must when you are trying to use most digital cameras with studio type of flash units. It has a hot shoe slide in socket on the top, 2 female PC sockets on the sides, 1/4-20 female socket on the center bottom of the metal slide in shoe for mounting on light stands or tripods. It can also be used with reversible and multi-purpose flash brackets to mount your flash onto the bracket and connect to the camera via a PC to PC or Hot Shoe to PC cord.
You can use this to connect your studio flashes to the hot shoe of your standard flash or your transmitter system.
